According to Idealo, in May and June, "the average prices of 5 of the 6 types of products studied are at their lowest": high-tech, household appliances, products for landscaping and garden maintenance, childcare products as well as fashion and beauty products. For all that is high-tech, household appliances, childcare, fashion and beauty, the study of Idealo shows that the month of June is the most interesting to buy on the internet. For these four types of products, it is during this period that the average prices are at their lowest. For car and motorcycle products (tires, helmet, GPS ...), Idealo advises to "give preference to the month of October".
"The period at the end of the school year (April, May, June) is the quarter of the year that generates the least traffic on e-commerce sites," says the price comparator. Thus, "it is logical to see a fall in prices during this period," he said. Winter, period to avoid
The seasons follow each other and are not alike. 4 of the 6 categories studied by Idealo reach the maximum of their average price in winter, namely in December and January. In December, these are auto and motorcycle products and childcare products. In January, these are garden maintenance and landscaping products as well as beauty and fashion products.
